Introduction to Paper Marbling

Get an introduction into a part of the world of marbling in this two-hour class! This class is perfect for those short on time, but curious about the art form and wanting to play in the tank. $80 (includes all materials). Class space is limited to 10 seats!

About The Event
In this hands-on class, you will learn the basics to get you started designing both traditional marbled papers as well as your own creations. You will marble in a medium-size tank (11″ x 14″) on a printing paper. By the end of class, you will have 10-15 marbled pieces to take home and use for bookbinding, card making, scrap booking, framing, and more.
This class is designed for beginners interested in exploring the ancient art form of floating paint on thickened water — without the hassle of prep, set up, and shopping for materials! Everything is provided for you — no shopping for materials, no prep work! Just show up and have fun!
The cost of the class includes all materials paper, carrageenan bath, oil paints, use of tanks and tools, and handouts. No previous art experience of any kind necessary!
YOU WILL NEED TO BRING PAINT CLOTHES, AS WE WILL BE USING OIL PAINTS.
