Unleash your creativity and join us for a delightful evening of crafting! In this relaxed and engaging workshop, you’ll learn the art of creating a stunning paper flower crown that captures the essence of the early harvest season. Elissa Lincoln, an experienced artist and instructor, will guide you through the process, teaching you valuable skills in composition, color theory, and scale. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a beautiful and durable piece of wearable art that you can cherish for years to come.
Elissa Lincoln grew up in Connecticut and later moved to the North Shore to pursue her passion for art. Her deep connection to New England has greatly influenced her artistic style, particularly her appreciation for the vibrant colors and dramatic changes of the four seasons. With a strong background in drawing and painting, Elissa’s work initially focused on the human form. Over time, her art evolved into abstract, lyrical nature drawings, which she then transformed into sculptural forms by cutting, bending, and shaping them into dynamic pieces that play with light and shadow.
Elissa has spent several years honing her craft while teaching art to both children and adults, offering private lessons and classroom instruction. She currently works out of her studio in downtown Beverly, MA, where she continues to explore and expand her artistic practice.
